U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement

Our immigration detention research team collects data on the number of people detained by U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) across the country who have been infected with or died from COVID. Our data come directly from ICE’s website and are updated several times per week. The table below displays aggregate COVID-19 data for people detained by U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in facilities across the US. The ICE Data Grade represents our assessment of the transparency and quality of those data reported by ICE.
