Joshua Manson is the Communications Manager for the UCLA Law COVID Behind Bars Data Project. He previously worked at the American Civil Liberties Union, the Center for Constitutional Rights, and Brooklyn Defender Services. He is also a freelance journalist and his writing has appeared in The Appeal, Jacobin, Teen Vogue, Them, and other publications.
